About Prompt2CAD
Web tool that turns plain-language descriptions of furniture, built-ins, and mechanical parts into editable parametric 3D models with STEP, DXF, and STL export. NoPrompt2CAD is a browser-based CAD generator. Users type a description of a physical object they want to build, such as a wardrobe, a desk with drawers, a shelf unit, a bracket, or an enclosure, and an AI agent plans the structure, writes the geometry, and displays a dimensioned 3D model that can be rotated and inspected.
Every part carries real dimensions in metric units. Individual measurements can be changed through sliders or by writing follow-up instructions in chat, and the model updates accordingly. A parts list with dimensions and quantities can be derived from the model.
The output is parametric geometry rather than a triangle mesh, which keeps the model measurable and editable. Finished models can be exported as STEP and DXF for use in CAD programs such as FreeCAD, Fusion, and SOLIDWORKS, or as STL, 3MF, OBJ, and GLB for 3D printing, rendering, and web viewing.
New accounts receive 160 free credits. A typical new model costs around 100 credits and an update around 50. Additional credits are sold at one cent each with a ten dollar minimum, without a subscription.
